Too often when considering qualifications of potential Board members, little thought is given to what the organization needs in terms of specific skills and expertise, abilities and know-how not forthcoming from current Board members.
In that regard, I have found the following Board Profile particularly helpful to non-profit organizations. By inventorying specific skills and expertise of current Board members, it can become clear at a glance those talents and abilities which need to be sought from new Board members.
